Storage Tips &
             Suggestions To Save You
                   Time and Money

Tip:  Always inspect the unit you are renting  to make sure it meets with

              your satisfaction.

Tip:   Always prepare your storage space floor by placing pallets,

           cardboard and/or plastic  down first.

Tip:  Leave a small aisle down the middle of your space. This is the

single most important time saver you will find.

Tip:  Keep your lawn/garden tools in an empty garbage can. This will

keep them together and keep the sharp edges away from you

when you are in your space.

Tip:  Pack all your boxes as full as possible, but not over full. Half full

boxes might collapse. Bulging boxes tip over when stacked. Store

the heavier packed boxes on the bottom.

Tip:  Avoid wrinkled clothing by using Wardrobe boxes, which allow

clothing to be hung. Each of our locations have them for sale.

Tip:  Use Mattress covers  or drop cloths to help protect from dust.

Tip:  Don't lean stored items against the walls of your storage space.

Leave a little room in front between your items and the roll up

door. if they tip over and wedge themselves against  the door, it

will be  very difficult to open your door.

Remember to Always lock you unit

These are good examples of the proper way to pack a storage space:

Most everything is visible, easy to access, and labeled. Even without the shelves, this is what to shoot for.  It will save you time and frustration when you need to find

something.

In reality, this is might be

more realistic. Still well done with heavier contents on the bottom and lighter items on top. Good

use of the vertical space.

Hopefully, the most often used items are in front.

If possible, try to avoid these scenarios. Imagine trying to find something in these spaces.

Vertical space could be better

utilized. If these items were properly stacked, a smaller space would easily suffice, saving these folks a lot  of money.  That's correct, a properly stacked space will also save you money.
